Welcome to Car Rental Portal. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

1. Rental Agreement & Eligibility

By renting a vehicle from Car Rental Portal, you agree to the following conditions:

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 21 years old. Drivers under 25 may be subject to a "Young Driver Surcharge".
  • Driving License: A valid driving license held for at least 1 year is mandatory. International renters must provide an International Driving Permit (IDP) along with their domestic license.
  • Documents: Valid photo ID (Passport/Aadhar) and a credit card in the renter's name for the security deposit are required at pickup.

2. Booking & Cancellation Policy

  • Free Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for free up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 48 hours of pickup will incur a fee equivalent to 1 day's rental.
  • No-Show: If you fail to pick up the car without prior notice, the full rental amount will be charged.
  • Early Return: No refunds are provided for early returns unless agreed upon in writing.

3. Vehicle Usage & Restrictions

  • Mileage Limit: All rentals come with a daily mileage limit (e.g., 250km/day). Excess mileage will be charged at ₹15/km.
  • Fuel Policy: Vehicles are provided with a full tank and must be returned full. Failure to do so will result in refueling charges plus a service fee.
  • Prohibited Use: Off-roading, racing, towing, or driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs is strictly prohibited and voids all insurance.
  • Smoking/Pets: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A cleaning fee of ₹2000 applies for violations. Pets are allowed only in carriers.

4. Damage, Insurance & Liability

  • Basic Insurance: All rentals include Third-Party Liability insurance.
  • Damage Waiver (CDW): You are responsible for any damage to the vehicle up to the deductible amount (e.g., ₹10,000), provided you adhered to the terms.
  • Full Liability: You are fully liable for damages caused by negligence, off-road driving, or breach of terms (e.g., drunk driving).
  • Theft Protection: Covers the cost of replacing the vehicle if stolen, subject to a deductible. The key must be returned to validate this coverage.

5. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit (amount varies by car class) will be blocked on your credit card at pickup. This will be released within 7-10 days after return, subject to vehicle inspection for damages or fuel shortages.

6. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.
